Artium was appointed to refurbish the former Cathedral Choir School in Ripon, breathing new life into a 19th-century landmark that had stood vacant for many years. The project centred on restoring the building's original architecture while transforming the interior into four ultra-modern four-bedroom townhouses for private sale.
The derelict building was stripped to its shell and underwent a comprehensive restoration programme, including a full roof replacement. The original foundations were carefully preserved to safeguard the building's historic character and distinctive charm.
The interior was converted into four high-end townhouses, featuring three floors of premium accommodation. To ensure long-term sustainability, the property was fully insulated in accordance with current regulations.
