WORKING TOWARDS
NET ZERO
The construction industry faces a pressing challenge to decarbonise as the UK mandates Net Zero for all new buildings by 2030. We support clients through this transition by delivering high-performance, BREEAM-compliant buildings that also reduce operational costs.

SHAPING
SUSTAINABLE
SPACES
- Low-carbon, responsibly sourced materials
Real-world risk assessments and method statements (RAMS)
- Procore captures and manages all real-time site data
- Our supply chains are scored on environmental standards and performance metrics
- Dedicated sustainability register to track project impacts
- Adherence to BREEAM requirements
- Building Information Modelling (BIM) tracks embodied carbon and ensures compliance with environmental targets
ENERGY-EFFICIENT BUILDS
We help clients design and build sustainable, energy-efficient schemes fit for the future.
Our approach integrates best practices throughout the project lifecycle, including optimising passive design strategies such as natural ventilation, daylighting, and thermal insulation to reduce energy demand.
We have recently demonstrated this through a Passivhaus scheme for Citu’s Climate Innovation District in Leeds.

SUSTAINABLE
MATERIALS
For each project, we review material specifications to ensure value for money and, where possible, encourage sustainability.
Materials are selected with the following criteria in mind:
- Best value at no detriment to quality or safety performance
- Whole-life costs
- Standardisation
- Local procurement
- Wherever practical, the use of materials from renewable or sustainable sources, as well as recycled or recyclable materials and components
