PROJECT OVERVIEW

Artium installed the exterior cladding for an 18-metre-high residential building within Citu’s prestigious Climate Innovation District, as well as the fit-out of 87 apartments. Secured through a two-stage tender, the project was completed to Passivhaus standard, introducing a fresh wave of sustainable homes to Leeds. A collaborative, open-book approach ensured alignment between budget and brief from the outset, enabling efficient and safe delivery without compromising quality.

The building was classified as high-risk, requiring strict compliance with fire safety regulations. Artium delivered the cladding in line with EWS1 requirements and Building Regulations. Quality assurance and compliance were embedded throughout, with a strong focus on the Golden Thread, supported by structured processes and a Common Data Environment (CDE).

“Citu found Artium’s collaborative open-book approach very effective in achieving a budget whilst complying with a strict brief. Over a period of 42 weeks Artium have delivered 87 apartments to Passivhaus standard, whilst concurrently cladding the façade to an A1 rated specification.”
