PROJECT OVERVIEW
Artium converted a former office block into a modern residential scheme for York’s rental market. Comprising 35 one-bedroom apartments, Artium coordinated all technical and regulatory requirements while maintaining a practical delivery approach.
Each apartment includes an open-plan layout with a modern kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, air source heat pump, and large windows, providing light-filled, functional living spaces. Upgrades to fire protection, glazing, and passenger systems ensure full compliance with current Building Regulations.
GATEWAY 2
"Artium Construction were appointed as our development partners in September 2023 on the Gateway 2 project in York, which consists of the repurposing of a commercial office space into 31 residential units. From appointment as preferred contractor, Artium engaged with and coordinated a pre-novated design team whilst market testing to achieve a contract sum within our construction budget and have subsequently commenced on site without setback. I would have no reservations on using Artium again on similar or larger scale projects."
